On the Way Into Town, Sunday Evening
Dec. 20th, 2015 05:34 pmMerrill hadn't been plagued by too many nightmares of her own, luckily. But by this point in the weekend, with everyone else's emotions constantly nagging at her consciousness, she was feeling a little bit worn down.
Not so much so that she wasn't willing to run down into town when she heard the call for help, though.
She was hurrying off of the school grounds -- not getting as lost as she usually did, but then she didn't usually have this much of a clear purpose -- when a message appeared on the wall just outside the gates and caught her attention.
"What -- I don't understand." She shook her head and hurried down the road, only to find another message scrawled across the pavement in front of her.
Creators only knew why, but that sent a chill down her spine. Swallowing hard, she continued on her way, pausing every so often to cast a spell at an attacking creature.
[OOC: Literally just an excuse to reference the quote her username is from, but open if you don't mind mega-SP.]

It was my risk to take! I never asked her to do this for me!

Why? What have you decided to see?
Sometimes it's hard to tell. Cracks, mostly.
